360 Degree Feedback
360 degree feedback
for leaders in Perth
See your leadership through the eyes of the people you work with. We run 360 degree assessments for leaders and managers, and we help each leader turn the feedback into a clear plan.
What is 360 degree feedback?
A 360 degree assessment collects feedback about one person from the people who work with them. These people are usually the manager, peers and direct reports. The person also completes a self-assessment. The report then compares the self-view with the view of others.
The name comes from the full circle of raters around the leader. Each group sees a different part of how the leader works. When you put these views together, you get a more complete picture than one view can give.
The feedback is confidential. Raters answer a questionnaire online, and the report groups their answers. This helps people give honest feedback. Honest feedback shows blind spots, and it also confirms real strengths.
A 360 is not a performance rating, and it does not replace a performance review. It is a tool for development. It gives a leader clear data about their impact, so that they can decide what to change next.

People managers and supervisors
Find out how your day-to-day management practices help or hold back the people in your team.

Use tools that are mapped to the standards of your sector and benchmarked against leaders in similar roles.

How to choose the right 360
Start with the question that you want to answer. Each tool measures a different thing, so the question tells you which tool to use.
Do you want to know how a leader thinks, and how this affects their effectiveness? Use the LSI. Do you want to know the effect of a leader on other people? Use Leadership/Impact for senior leaders, or Management/Impact for people managers.
Do you want a benchmark against a well-known model of leadership? Use the MLQ. Does the leader also complete the Hogan personality suite? Add the Hogan 360, because it shows how the behaviour behind the personality data lands with other people.
Do you work in health, aged care, disability or a high-risk industry? Use Health Leads, Care Leads or Safe Leads. These tools use the standards and benchmarks of your sector. Leader Excel suits any sector and puts psychological safety at the centre.
If you are not sure, take our short diagnostics quiz, or talk to us. We will help you match the tool to your purpose, your leaders and your budget.
How Veraison runs a 360
Every 360 follows the same clear path. We manage the process, so that your leaders can focus on the feedback.
Step 01
Plan
We agree the purpose, choose the tool and help each leader select the people who will give feedback.
Step 02
Collect feedback
The leader and the raters complete a confidential questionnaire online. We set up the survey and support the raters.
Step 03
Debrief
An accredited practitioner works through the report with the leader, in person in Perth and WA or online Australia-wide.
Step 04
Develop
The leader leaves with a focused development plan. Coaching and a second assessment later help to track progress.
Why the debrief matters
A 360 report holds a lot of data. Without help, people often focus on one low score and miss the pattern. A debrief with an accredited practitioner helps the leader read the report correctly and without defence.
In the debrief, the practitioner explains what the tool measures and what the scores mean. Together, they find the strengths to keep, the gaps between the self-view and the view of others, and a small number of priorities to work on.
The debrief is confidential, so the leader can talk openly about the results. Many leaders then continue with coaching, so that they can practise new behaviours and get support as they change.

Frequently asked questions
What is a 360 degree assessment?
A 360 degree assessment collects confidential feedback about one person from their manager, peers and direct reports, and compares it with the person's self-assessment. The result is a report that shows strengths, blind spots and priorities for development.
Is 360 feedback anonymous?
Rater answers are confidential. The report groups the answers of each rater group, so that people can give honest feedback. The debrief is also confidential.
How long does a 360 take to complete?
It depends on the tool. Some tools, such as Leader Excel and Safe Leads, take about 10 minutes online. We tell you the time for each tool when we plan the 360 with you.
Which 360 is best for my leaders?
Start with what you want to learn. The LSI measures thinking styles, Leadership/Impact and Management/Impact measure the effect of leaders on others, and the MLQ benchmarks leaders against the Full Range Leadership model. Health Leads, Care Leads and Safe Leads suit health, care and high-risk sectors. We can help you choose.
