Lisa McCarthy

Lisa is an experienced people and organisational development practitioner, facilitator and coach with almost 30 years’ experience helping leaders, teams and organisations perform at their best.

Her career spans senior human resources, organisational development, business partnering and general management roles across professional services, mining, engineering and other complex operating environments. This breadth enables Lisa to understand both the human and commercial dimensions of organisational performance — and to translate insight into practical action.

Lisa works with leaders and teams to strengthen leadership capability, psychological safety, team effectiveness and the ways people work together. She is particularly skilled at helping organisations look beyond individual behaviour to understand the systems, relationships and workplace conditions shaping performance, wellbeing and organisational outcomes.

Drawing on evidence-based diagnostics, Lisa helps make visible what matters: how leaders are experienced, how teams interact, what may be getting in the way and where focused development can make the greatest difference. She combines diagnostic insight with guided facilitation, practical development and applied learning grounded in the team’s real work environment.

Lisa is known for her warm, perceptive and commercially grounded approach. She creates thoughtful, engaging conversations that help people examine different perspectives, make sense of complexity and take shared responsibility for meaningful and sustainable change.

Outside work, Lisa is a passionate landscape painter who draws inspiration from Western Australia’s natural environment. She also enjoys travelling, walking and spending time outdoors with her family.
