Veraison Renews Its Partnership with Ageing Australia for 2026–27

Veraison is proud to announce that we have renewed our partnership with Ageing Australia, continuing as an Associate member for 2026–27. This renewed commitment reflects the value we place on supporting the people and organisations who care for older Australians.

A shared purpose

Ageing Australia is the national peak body representing providers of aged care services across the country. Its members deliver care and support to hundreds of thousands of older people, in residential settings, in the home and across the community. Standing alongside them is an organisation Veraison is genuinely proud to be part of.

Our work has always been about helping people and teams perform at their best — and nowhere is that work more important than in a sector built on compassion, trust and human connection. Renewing our Associate membership keeps us close to the issues that matter most to aged care providers and the workforce that sustains them.

Why this partnership matters

Aged care is one of the most demanding and rewarding environments to work in. Leaders are navigating reform, workforce pressures and rising expectations, all while keeping the wellbeing of residents, clients and staff at the centre of everything they do.

Through our partnership with Ageing Australia, Veraison continues to support the sector in the areas where we can make the greatest difference:

  • Leadership development — equipping managers and executives with the skills to lead with clarity and care.
  • Culture and team performance — building workplaces where people feel safe, valued and able to do their best work.
  • Psychosocial safety and wellbeing — helping organisations identify and manage the psychosocial hazards that affect a caring workforce.
  • Conflict resolution and mediation — strengthening the relationships and conversations that keep teams connected under pressure.

Looking ahead

A strong, well-supported workforce is the foundation of quality aged care. As the sector continues to evolve, Veraison is committed to walking alongside Ageing Australia and its members — sharing what we know about people, culture and leadership, and learning from the dedicated professionals who show up for older Australians every day.

We look forward to another year of partnership, and to the work ahead in 2026–27.

Are Your Leaders Meeting the Bar the Public Sector Expects?

The WA Public Sector Commission's Building Leadership Impact framework sets a clear standard: seven core leadership behaviours across seven contexts and three levels of mastery. Most agencies cannot answer the obvious follow-up question, which is where their leaders actually sit against it.

Holding the Line: What a One-Point Win Teaches Us About Resilience

On Saturday, North Melbourne held on to beat West Coast by a single point — the week after a heavy loss. It's the clearest picture of resilience I've seen in a while, and resilience is the most misunderstood quality in the leaders I work with. Here's what the final quarter teaches us about building it.
